Not much of a Summer this year you say! But Boleh’s family Charters from Portland and Gosport, with overnights onboard for children, have created many happy, sunny holiday memories this Season. We’re delighted to be able to tell this story quoting the generous feedback from Boleh’s charterers:

‘We had a great day, one to be remembered for a long time to come. The weather was glorious and the wind speeds just right.’

‘The family day sail was excellent, sunny with the odd light shower, and we all had a great time. The 4 grandchildren had great fun, as well as their Mums and Dads – all are still talking about it!’

‘You looked after us royally throughout, while reminding us of Boleh’s remarkable story,’

‘We celebrated a ‘big birthday’, so lunch ashore at the Seaview Yacht Club was just the ticket.’

‘Moderate breezes and plenty of sunshine allowed everyone to relax, learn a bit and then enjoy the fruits of a ‘Whose got the best picnic?’ competition while anchored in Osborne Bay.’

‘My guests all thoroughly enjoyed their leisurely Portland day in the sun’

‘The children had a wonderful time’

Thanks to Craig Coupe and our volunteer Skippers and Mates, Nigel Craine, Edwin Blenkinsopp, Chris O’Connell, John Tweed, Ant Atkinson-Willes, David Hadfield and Roger Randall who looked after families and friends so well. We also acknowledge the generosity of those paying the Charter fees – the proceeds help meet the costs of our charity sailing programmes.
