Each year Boleh is available for Corporate Charter, with the proceeds helping fund her charitable work. We are pleased to report that last month we used one such corporate slot to thank multinational tech company GARMIN for their state-of-the-art Navionics suite donated to Boleh last year (News 10 October 23). Boleh was proud to host a great GARMIN team day out on the Solent just before the Southampton Boat Show, the first of a series of Corporate sails planned with the company in return for their generosity.
Guests were welcomed onboard and briefed by Craig and Nigel (a former GARMIN Sales Manager) before heading out smartly past the Solent Forts towards Bembridge. Boleh picked up a mooring buoy and the team were ferried ashore for a cracking lunch at the Seaview Yacht Club. On their return, they had the pleasure of seeing HMS Queen Elizabeth II pass ahead of Boleh – quite a spectacle!
Team member Zoe said “We had a great time on board and we’ll definitely look to do it again with some of the finance team in the spring”.
